Hematology Analyzers

Everything depends on hematology tests, for doctors, physicians, and medical subspecialists more often than not depend on the test results to obtain accurate diagnosis of a patients problem. Hence, hematology tests call for accuracy and preciseness two of the things that humans can never manage on their own.

The good news is that while humans can never be perfect, they are equipped with enough intelligence to create machines that could produce accurate results. Some such machines are hematology analyzers, tools that since their inception continue to provide an ever broadening scope of technological capabilities.

Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance

Overview
Most common gamut of sicknesses known as plasma cell dyscrasias, monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) denotes the presence of immunoglobin. It is called as M- protein in the serum or urine in individuals sans the proof of multiple myeloma (MM), waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (WM), amyloidosis (AL) and other lymphoproliferative disorders.

MM is a consistently fatal sickness which differs from a sickness where it does not require therapy at first to an aggressive or advanced stage. Determining between mutiple myeloma (MM) and monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) is crucial due to the fact that patients are conservatively treated and need no chemotherapy.
